Hi it’s Joe here. I took part in Match the Miles from the Adventure Syndicate again but I camped out overnight so I didn’t get back in time to upload the pictures to the app. This year it was just a one-day challenge. I had to complete eight tasks to pass.

1: Plan a route.

2: Paint your face or fancy dress. I dressed up as a cyclist…..

3: See a sunset or sunrise. It wasn’t that spectacular so this is the best I could do.

4 Find a duck. Luckily the park was part of our route and we saw some ducks while we were there.

5: Find an electric vehicle charging point. Again we are lucky for there are about three of these in my town and we passed by one.

6: Cross some water. While on our way we encountered some bog like track that we had to get through so I’m guessing this counts.

7: Carry something you care about. For this one I decided to choose the tent, because I quite like sleeping and not freezing in sub-zero temperatures.

8: Get high. Although it may not look it this was a 200 meter climb.

It was good fun sleeping out in the forest even though it was below zero. There was also a shooting star. It wasn’t as good as last year though when I went to Niagara Falls on my Match the Miles challenge.
